Preparation
Brasadèlas are Easter time sweets, i.e. ring-shaped cakes with many variations more or less in the whole of the Veneto's area of influence. Sift the flour and shape it into a fountain. Add, sugar, oil , eggs, yeast and salt. Mix to obtain a uniform mixture. Smear a cake tin or a ring-shaped mould with butter and flour and pour in the mix, distributing it uniformly. Put sugar on the surface and put in an oven pre-warmed to 180°C for about 40 minutes. When cooked, remove the ring-shaped cake from the oven, turn it upside down and leave it to cool. Then turn it again and serve. For those who wish to be loyal to tradition, at one time the 'oven' was a covered pot surrounded by embers.
